My Life

My name is Kira Albarez, I graduated from college April, 2007. I currently work at a life insurance company as a communication specialist, I love learn about life. Right now my main focus is remembering the things I learned in college. I took a class called organizational consulting and in that class I had the opportunity to learn about the s curve. I have always loved and knew how it related to business life, but I am very interested in how it relates to my own personal life. When the members of the Willie and Martin Hand Cart Companies came across America to the land of the promise they were leaving their lives behind. The prophet Brigham Young had made it possible for members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to gather in Zion the New Jerusilum. Member did not have to come to America but the believed that would be the best for them. They did not know if life was going to be better in America if they would still have chastisement in this new country or not but individually they had to decided if the were going to jumped on to a new s curves. The went to a new country and they also gave up their life that they had in the country they were coming from. What an inspiration to our lives, I hope all of us are able to make the changes in our lives that we need to and jump on to a new s curve to make our lives better.

7D Cycle

At first I did not realize that the 7D Cycle was a cycle that was continues, and also that it encompasses so much. For the purpose of this class I really think that we should focus on mainly getting things started and focus on the first three sections or four sections. I hope that we are going to keep in mind building the future of Organizational Consulting at school. I think that we need to focus on the right strategy and get things set off in the right direction.

I hope that every one remembers that we need to avoid a scope creep and that we keep a balanced score card as we finish getting every thing ready. I am excited to learn more about balanced score card and having it applied to our class.

Planning With The End Goal In Mind

I found class very interesting, for one because you expand you range of things that you do. I am a person that does not in the liked going online and email or instant messaging but I am glad that we have the opportunity in the class to expand our range. I found it interesting that Brother Adams mentioned the story about Executives using blogs, I feel if they feel the need in top corporate offices then we should be learning how to do so as well because we need to make sure that we are a head of the game. Information is gathered in many ways I am excited that we will get to learn in another area on the internet.
